On Saturday, Grant had the all-time best playoff rushing performance in Packers history and to no surprise it had a great deal to do with his penchant for keeping his head up. Only this time it was different.

Grant had fumbled the football twice in the first minute and three seconds. Though that wasn't the way he or his teammates envisioned starting the game, Grant had two options. He could (A) go into a shell and let the turnovers slow him down the rest of the game, or (B) act as if it didn't happen and move on to helping his team advance to the NFC Championship game.

Two hundred one yards and three touchdowns later, it's obvious Grant chose option B. Not only did he bounce back from the two turnovers that led to a quick 14-0 lead for the Seahawks, he set a franchise record for rushing yards and touchdowns in the playoffs, surpassing the marks of Ahman Green (156 yards at Philadelphia, Jan. 11, 2004) and three other backs (Elijah Pitts, Travis Williams and Edgar Bennett, along with Green) who had scored twice in a postseason contest.

These are the 10 most sought after (searched for) NFL teams, none of which are all so surprising considering their fan base.

1 Dallas Cowboys
2 New England Patriots
3 Green Bay Packers
4 Oakland Raiders
5 Pittsburgh Steelers
6 Chicago Bears
7 Cincinnati Bengals
8 Indianapolis Colts
9 San Diego Chargers
10 San Francisco 49ers

NFL WEEKLY ODDS SCORES INJURIES NEWS GAME OF THE WEEK PICK

COWBOYS AND GIANTS BOTH FALL!

The underdogs prevailed on Sunday. With Mannings interceptions and The Cowboys 85 yards of miscues. Led these two favorites to packing up and going home. Both San Diego and N.Y.'s defenses coming on to keep their teams lead. The Cowboys offensive line just could not keep the giants front four off Romo in the forth quarter and with 9 seconds left Romo threw his first interception into the endzone. Dallas's 67 million dollar man is now 0 and 2 in playoffs. Young Manning now has 2 playoff wins.

NFL Divison Chamionship games...
OUR PICKS ON THE RIGHT

FAVORITE ON LEFT

at Green Bay 7 7 41 1/2 NY Giants

at New England 15 14 47 1/2 San Diego

Take the Packers. It is going to be a very cold day in Green Bay. Farve is on fire and the young team is confident. They will get to play the Big One.

Take the Pats. Brady will not go the fate of Manning. He will lead the team to the Super Bowl. The points are a big spread, but how can you not figure the Patriots will cover???

Below a recap of some highlight weeks.

OUR PICK GAME OF WEEK ONE......

SUNDAY NIGHT... Cowboys and Giants. The Giants need to start off with a win for there coach, I don't see it. Cowboys Romo, Owens, Jones and Whitten on offence will be too much for the Giants. Look for Marcus Spears to have a big game on defense. Pick-- Pokes 24 Giants 17. Cowboys will win the East.

Sept.10,2007...COWBOYS 45 GIANTS 35
Our pick was right, but the score was way OVER!
After week one Tony Romo is the leagues top passer and the Giants limp home. With atleast four injures, including Eli Manning, the Giants are already hurting. Will Eli play next week? Look for our update later this week.

NFL PICK OF WEEK TWO

We almost took Green Bay over the hurting Giants, but we are picking the Cowboys again in Miami. We like the over (40) and giving up 4 points. The Cowboys impressed us with there offense and with Newman back with the defense this should help them keep Miami from mouting many comebacks. They have no Manning. If the Pokes keep wounding teams like last weeks Giants, they will quickly become feared. We still see the "Boys" winning the East.

SEPT.17,2207.....COWBOYS 37 DOLFINS 20

Our week two pick was right again! The over was good and the points! Neither team reported any injuries. ... Owens was also penalized 5 yards for delay of game when he caught a pass to convert a third-and-15 situation, then tossed the ball away. ... The Dolphins lost their home opener for the fourth time in five years. ... The Cowboys' point total after two games is their highest since 1971.
Our back up pick of the Packers was good too.

WEEK THREE PICK:

After two weeks picking the Cowboys and winning, we are taking the Colts over Houston. Giving up 6 points. Houston has had two suprising weeks, but the ride ends Sunday. Manning will have a good day and the Colts Defense will keep Houston down. Stay away from the over/under bet on this one.
(If you want a backup bet take Detroit and the points, against Philly) McNabb looked off last week and it may continue.

SEPT.24,2007......COLTS 30 HOUSTON 24

Our third week pick was right again! Houston proved to be for real this year. The 6 point spread was right on. Hope you only gave 5 1/2!... Our back up pick was wrong. Most sport no-it-alls predicted the Lions to win. We followed there lead, to my dissapointment. McNabb ,in those ugly uniforms, was on fire. We will not just blindly follow the mass on predictions from now on.....Seems we end up talking about the Cowboys, but Sunday nights game gave more flames to our prediction from the start. The Cowboys are FOR REAL! They remind me of the 93-95 Cowboys. Lots of weapons and a QB that makes thing happen. Each team Dallas has played this year has been worn down and injuired. As stated each week before, the Pokes will win the East. Look for the game against New England in Oct. at Dallas. This could be a early view of this years SuperBowl......

WEEK FOUR PICK

This week (four), We are picking Greenbay over Minnesota. Giving up 1 point. The game is being play in Minnesota. Green Bay will help there own cause as starting to be called the second best team in the NFC. Farve will surpass Marino this week for all time touchdown passer. We also will take the "over bet"(38)....Other bets that look good...Houston giving up 3 to Atlanta, and Dallas and St. Louis, we like the over bet in this one (46). The 13 points is a bad bet either way.

October 1,2007...GREENBAY 23 VIKINGS 16

Once agian Our pick was right on! Covered the point and the over bet was right too! Farve breaks Marinos passing record with 422 TD passes. Watch out for the backup bets. Suprising Falcons win and The Cowboys covered the points but not the over bet. The pitiful Rams are history for this year.

WEEK FIVE PICK

This week we are going with the suprising Texas over Miami. Straight up. The points are Texas -6. The TEXAS team deserves some respect They have played all the last four games hard. No bet here on the over-under. Our back up is a the Cowboys(what a surprise) giving up 10 points. Romo is on fire, the team is in sync, and happy. A receipe for winning!

Oct.7,2008...TEXANS 22 DOLFINS 19

For the Fifth straight week our pick of the week was right! If you gave the line points you didn't make it. Sorry.

WEEK SIX PICK...

This week we are going back to the Cowboys. Taking the 5 points. At home Romo will not have the turnovers as last week. He will play a great game. It will be close.

Patriots 48 Cowboys 27

Oct. 14, 2007...What looked like a barn burner in the middle of the third quarter turned into a blowout as the Cowboys kept shooting thereselves in the foot. With 12 penalties for over 100 yards, the Boys, kept giving the Patriots first downs and taking them away from from Dallas. This gave Brady all the chance he needed to throw for five TD's and run away with the game in the forth quarter. The Cowboys proved, as of yet, they are not on the same level as New England.

WEEK SEVEN PICK...

Our pick of the week is Philadelphia over Chicago giving up 5 1/2 points. Mc Nabb and team are coming together and should take this game.

OCT. 23,2007.CHICAGO 21 PHILADELPHIA 19
Eagles are up one week and down the next. This team looked to be coming together before this game. They proved they are still trying to get together.

Dallas' road to a division title starts with trip to Philadelphia.

By Jaime Aron, AP Sports Writer
IRVING, Texas — Over the next three Sundays, the Dallas Cowboys can go a long way toward reclaiming supremacy in the NFC East. So it's only fitting their path begins in Philadelphia, home to the division champion five of the last six seasons.

Dallas goes in 6-1 and leading the division. The Eagles are 3-4 and in last place, but quarterback Donovan McNabb still believes Philadelphia is the team to beat.

"In order for you to be a champion, you have to beat the champion," he said. "In the division, if you're the defending champion and have been for a numerous amount of years specifically, in order for you to become the champion of that division, you have to beat the champion."

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips brought up McNabb's road-goes-through-Philadelphia speech on Monday. He claimed he doesn't consider it bulletin-board material - "I mean, I think he's stating the fact," Phillips said - but ... how can it not be?

Phillips certainly didn't bring it up to try intimidating his players. If anything, it's a dangling carrot: You want us to come get? OK. "We know we've got to go up there and win," tight end Jason Witten said Thursday. "This team is up for that challenge." Witten added, "Hopefully we can make that transition."

Safety Roy Williams looks at the standings and figures it's already happened. "Right now, they are in no position to talk about 'Everything goes through Philly.' Some teams went to Philly and they beat them," Williams said. "No one is worried about 'You have to go through Philly.' You have to go through Dallas, you have to go through Washington and you have to go through New York, too. Everybody feels they are the best. Right now, it's just about how you play on the field that proves you are the best."

Reminded about the Eagles' recent dominance over Dallas - two straight wins, five of seven and 11 of 14 - Williams dismissed that, too.

"They are another team that's in our way of reaching our goals," he said. The others are the New York Giants (6-2) and the Washington Redskins (4-3). Dallas plays at New York a week from Sunday, then the Redskins visit Texas Stadium the following Sunday.

Linebacker Greg Ellis still considers Philadelphia the beast of the East. That should be expected from the longest-tenured Cowboys player; he's lost more games against the Eagles than any other team.

Ellis said one of the most painful losses of his career was the 2000 opener, when Philadelphia came to Texas Stadium and used a game-opening onside kick to set the tone for a 41-14 victory. That game also is often remembered for the Eagles beating the heat with pickle juice - some of which they spit at Dallas players, Ellis said Thursday.

So beating Philadelphia, as rare as it is, always means a lot to Ellis. "If you look at it, you're going to say, this is the year," he said. "You've got to remember, Philadelphia is not going to lay down."
